Solar energy has been harnessed for centuries with the use of ever-evolving technological advancements. In this era, one of the most popular solar technologies is the solar panel, an assembly of photovoltaic cells that is used for generating and supplying electricity in residential and commercial units. An increasing number of housing units as well as office buildings are opting to install solar panels on their roofs to avail of the sun’s energy. In fact, the solar energy industry’s landscape has greatly varied in the past years.

6. Also, check if the contractor has any pending or active judgments. These could affect their credibility and you might want to ditch them if they have any.

8. The contractor must also have on- and off-grid experience, which means that they must be able to connect the solar power system to both the battery bank and to the grid.
9. In looking for the best, make sure that the contractor has a qualified electrician to connect the solar power system to the grid.
10. The company should also be able to inform you about the installation and connection costs and they should charge you at a fair price. They must also provide warranties on labor and products.
11. The contractor must also provide free assessment of the solar panel setup.
It would be wiser to compare and contrast different solar panel contractors before settling for a single company. Aside from looking into their credentials and experiences, it is also important to set your budget allocation so you can select which contractor offers the best services at the most reasonable price.
