The need for environmentally minded businesses is growing throughout multiple industries. As a result, colleges and universities are making an effort to instill these values in students from the start. Entrepreneur Magazine along with Princeton Review set out to find the best green business schools in the nation. After researching more than 300 graduate schools, the ranking was released in the April issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.
Brandeis International Business School Ranks Top In Class
Receiving the top green business school ranking from Entrepreneur magazine and Princeton Review was Brandeis International Business School. The school launched a program in 2008 called the Global Green Initiative. The program ventured to gain an understanding of the effect going green has on business strategy. They then developed what is known as the Global Green MBA. The degree incorporates environmental studies and corporate governance into the classes.
Global Green MBA
With green business becoming an important part of the future, the Global Green MBA will be invaluable to graduates trying to gain a foothold in the business market. Additionally, the knowledge will help them to adapt existing businesses to meet the changing business climate. As new ideas and technologies are developed the ability for schools to adapt to the changes is vital.
