About 4,000 energy jobs will be created when TransCanada begins construction of a pipeline running from Cushing, OK down to Texas. This is the same pipeline that was rejected by President Obama back in early 2012, due to its course through Nebraska’s ecologically sensitive region, the Sand Hills. TransCanada has reconfigured the designs and route for the pipeline, which finally met with the president’s approval.
