Earlier in my ramblings about eco fashion and natural lifestyles, I introduced you to Pomega5 eco skincare. The basic ingredient is pomegranate oil, which contains rare omega-5 fatty acids, and which is known to help balance hormones and promote skin health on all levels. On June 6th we’ll get to learn more about Pomega5 eco skincare from Dr. Oz, who has gained a solid reputation as a reliable health guru in households across the world.

Dr. Oz’s team of medical researchers and physicians work full-time to investigate more than 200 products and pitches they receive every month, including eco skincare products. As you may have guessed, most products don’t get their backing. They can’t pass the strict screening process of the medical unit, which prides themselves on producing material that is based in facts and science, and holds real benefits for their viewers.

Apparently, Pomega5 eco skincare passed the test, impressing the medical team so much that they’ll feature it on the show on June 6.

The Pomega5 eco skincare line includes a variety of products with simple, natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals, like parabens or phthalates. They have four specific “systems” geared toward different skin types:

  • Green Tea System: eco skincare for normal, dry or combination skin.
  • Rose System: for normal, dry or sensitive skin.
  • Regenerative System: for dry to mature skin.
  • Healing System: for damaged or problem skin.

For eco skincare, Dr. Oz also recommends eating leafy greens, homemade lemon facial cleansers, and cellulite reducing seaweed masks.

The Dr. Oz show runs on various stations across the US and around the world. The first episode ran in 2009, and since then the show and Dr. Mehmet Oz himself have been recognized with various awards, including Emmys.
