Individuals now can charge their cell phones or even use electronic devices and computers anywhere as a result of two new solar power stations that Enerfusion Inc. recently introduced. These solar power stations allow people to completely use solar power to keep their devices running.
Enerfusion’s remote green energy system saves on electric wiring costs while helping people reduce their ecological footprint and preserve the environment. Trails, areas of recreation, parks, schools and even restaurants that feature Wi-Fi all benefit from the two new Enerfusion solar power stations, one of which is called the Solar Dok “SD1” while the other is named “Solstice.”
“Currently we have installed the Solar Dok at Texas A&M, University of Florida and University of Central Florida,” said Tony Fata, sales account manager at Enerfusion. “The response has been great; the students are really enjoying the Solar Dok.”
Enerfusion’s Power Stations Accommodate Many Device Types
Enerfusion’s green remote energy system features 110 VAC — or volts, alternating current — green power outlets, a battery bank to store energy and a 700-lumen high intensity low-power LED lighting system.
The solar power stations enable users of laptops, digital cameras, personal gaming devices, MP3 players and personal data assistants to use 100 percent solar power. These users simply go to Solar Dok – which essentially is a solar-powered picnic table that serves as a charging station – to renew their devices’ low energy when finding a traditional electrical outlet outside is difficult and inconvenient. These types of creations can open up opportunities for green jobs in the future, with green jobs paving the way for a more environmentally friendly economy.
