Amana Bisque 24-inch Built-in Dishwasher – Image from Sears

If you want to make washing dishes less of a chore while adding a classy look to your kitchen and being eco-friendly, get the black, white, bisque or silver Amana 24-inch built-in green dishwasher (Sears Item No.: 02214909000; Model No.: ADB1000AWB).

The Amana dishwasher qualifies as an ENERGY STAR® product, using up to 20 percent less energy than do dishwashers that lack the ENERGY STAR® rating.

Five wash cycles are available for various loads of dishes in the Amana green dishwasher. For instance, the Pots and Pans cycle easily breaks down any food stuck to your dishes and removes burns from pans and pots. A Plate Warmer cycle actually allows you to slightly warm serving platters, while a Rinse Only cycle enables you to gently rinse off dirty dishes to remove extra debris if you don’t plan to run the dishwasher immediately.

In addition, the Amana 24-inch built-in ENERGY STAR® dishwasher has a Soil Settler tower-feed wash system that forcefully sprays cleaning water from two different levels to improve the dishwashing process. At the end of the washing cycle, a heated dry feature in the dishwasher completely dries your dishes without leaving annoying water spots.

The Amana 24-inch built-in green dishwasher, one of the leading types of green appliances on the market today, features a price of $249.99.

ENERGY STAR® products are increasing in popularity and are in line with US Green Technology’s promotion of green manufacturing and green jobs. This industry produces more green jobs, with green jobs offering more Americans opportunities to work successfully.
