Pomegranates have a good reputation for eco skincare, and for good reason. They’re extremely rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals, and they’re a source of omega-5 fatty acids, which are extremely rare. This makes pomegranate oil eco skincare unique, even among other natural eco skincare oils.

First let’s talk about omega-5. You hear a lot about omega-3 and omega-6, but omega-5 is rare. Its antioxidant power is six times that of grape seed extract. It prevents inflammation on cellular levels, and assists cells with glucose transportation. Its molecular structure makes it a super absorbable eco skincare oil, which penetrates skin on all layers. It helps regulate hormones and contains vitamins B1, B2, C and magnesium and potassium. It fights carcinogens, boosts the immune system and stimulates metabolism. It’s even said to enhance the body’s electromagnetic field as much as ten times.

Whew! All in a good day’s work for omega-5. The only known botanical source of omega-5 is pomegranate oil.

Pomegranate oil for eco skincare can be applied topically as a daily moisturizer. You may not be able to find it at your local target, though. Check online, or at stores like Whole Foods or specialty eco skincare boutiques.

The company Pomega5 is an eco skincare line based entirely on the benefits of pomegranate. Founder Tziera Sofer owned a wellness clinic for a long time before one of her patients introduced her to pomegranate oil. Sofer was already experienced with eco skincare, but was so impressed by pomegranate oil in particular that she was led to start Pomega5. Today she offers eco skincare that can reduce or slow down aging, restore skin’s vitality, lighten dark spots, address acne and chronic conditions (like eczema), and of course, keeps skin moisturized.

Pomegranate eco skincare oil is literally food for your skin.
